Crafting JDE's Common Grounds: Visual Identity, and Illustrations for a Shared Future

Common Grounds is the sustainability program of Jacobs Douwe Egberts (JDE), which purchases 8% of the world's coffee supply. To highlight their commitment to equitable and sustainable standards for their coffee and tea partners worldwide, JDE needed a distinct and ambitious identity.

During my time at DesignBridge Amsterdam, I collaborated with Max Olsen on the design approach. Creating an expressive suite of illustrations and developed the visual identity centered around the five-petalled coffee flower, symbolizing a shared future between JDE and its farmers.
